I wrote this poem for the marriage of two souls: Yow and Deb. They have come a long way since their first swipe on Coffee Meets Bagel!

I wrote this poem for the marriage of two souls: Yow and Deb. They have come a long way since their first swipe on Coffee Meets Bagel! And they’ve grown so much throughout the years. I was glad to be able to attend their wedding.

Yow & Deb

A journey that began with coffee meeting bagel
Or in a traditional sense, boy meeting girl,
Now marked by the communion of husband and wife
The start of something marvellous, a shared life.

Like the assembling of a colourful mosaic
It is a sight to behold, what He has made
A cohesive and resplendent masterpiece  
Yow and Deb - bound in love, hope, and bliss.

Gratefulness warms my heart as I see you
Learning, growing, and forgiving anew
I pray that your union will be so tight
That nothing can break it, no matter the blight.
