Background: I was thinking about how so many of us get happy or sad when we look at the certain numbers in our lives: how old we are, how tall/short/fat/thin we are, how much money we earn, how many followers/likes we get. Our worth really shouldn’t be linked to these numbers.
You Are Defined by Words of Affirmation
Unhook your worth to numerals.
The number of your age,
Your height and weight,
How much you earn,
Your followers and likes -
These things do not make your worth.
You are not encapsulated in the numbers.
Rather, you are defined by words of affirmation -
The vocabulary of love, grace, and strength.
