Consistent Love
Background: If there is one thing I can say about Henry (among many other wonderful things), it is that he’s consistent.
Background: If there is one thing I can say about Henry (among many other wonderful things), it is that he’s consistent. From the day he first told me he loved me, he has never wavered in this, even through all the difficult periods in our relationship. When we are arguing, we’d tell each other “I don’t like you right now, but I love you still.” As a side note: I was inspired by the words “she means it - and I believe it” from the book Fourth Wing, by Rebecca Yarros.
Consistent Love
“I love you,” he whispers to me.
He means it - and I believe it.
Even when fury burns passionately
And we want to walk away heatedly,
His love is consistent, unwavering;
Never has there been any flip-flopping.
He is the one I call husband,
And I adore him too, no question.
